SELFLESS SERVICE

JOINING JESUS IN THE RENEWAL OF ALL THINGS

Daughters of the Holy Cross
The DHC is an Order of women committed to making disciples and serving Jesus through our Rule of Life:
prayer, service, study and evangelism. The DHC is a nationwide organization affiliated with the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) divided into regions and church chapters.

St. Francis runs and welcomes new members to its 'Rose of Sharon' chapter of the DHC.

Advocating for Life

St. Francis Anglican Church supports Directions Medical Clinic in Lodi & Stockton, facilitating annual 'Baby Bottles' drives to fund precious supplies and much-needed counselling + advice for vulnerable mothers and mothers-to-be in-need.

Children's Ministry
St. Francis is blessed with a growing contingent of families with small children. Father Luke is an experienced youth and childrens' worker in a number of Anglican contexts, and Fr. Luke's wife Trista is a credentialled fourth-grade teacher.

St. Francis is excited to offer 'God's Big Picture' - a Montessori-style Children’s Ministry that teaches children the gospel of Jesus Christ, to know Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and to experience the fullness of new life in Christ as part of His body, the church.

Children's sessions take place each Sunday during our 10am Service.

Find out more by visiting our childrens ministry page, or emailing kids@stocktonanglican.com

St. Francis utilizes the MinistrySafe system to ensure that all childcare volunteers and workers are fingerprinted and background-checked, and trained in identifying and responding to signs of abuse.

Student Ministry Connections
Our church directly supports the InterVarsity Area 99 initiative, which offers spiritual resources and support to college/university students across our two city campuses (University of the Pacific & San Joaquin Delta College).

Students are regularly invited and encouraged to attend our worship, discipleship, and outreach/hospitality events, and we support + seek to reciprocally participate in campus ministries and events.

Showering the Homeless with Love
St. Francis is partnered with 'Showered With Love', a local ministry offering vital hygiene supplies & a hot shower to the homeless across Stockton. Our donation bin is out-and-available to accept donations at all Services & during all Church Office Hours.

Meeting Pastoral & Practical Needs

Father Luke is available in the Church Office on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons for any guidance or discussion, and the church has pastoral-care funding available for those in-need. Please contact us for information, or pop in and say hello!
